GM4070 is a black and white printer but can be equipped with color ink cartridges for color document printing. When the color ink is used up, you must replace it with new ink or install a contact protector to return to full black and white printing.
The economical model will reduce the printing density of black ink and increase the printing volume by about 38%.

Pre-purchase information

Whether printing in black and white or color, the printer must have all color inks installed. If any type of ink cartridge is not installed, the printer will display an error signal and be unable to print.
Depending on the printing paper or printing settings, the printer may also use colored ink when printing black and white documents. When any color ink is used up it needs to be replaced.

Accept fax data When the printer receives the fax, it will print it out immediately. In addition, faxes are also stored in the printer's memory. When the printer memory is full, the printer will only store the latest faxes and delete the old faxes. As long as the printer is loaded with paper, the printer will print even if it is low on ink. Therefore, if the ink capacity is low, the printouts and faxes may be blurred. If the printer memory is full at this time, newly received faxes will be stored and overwrite the old faxes. At this time, there is a chance that some faxes will not be read whether it is printed or checked in the printer memory. Therefore, when using the fax function, make sure the printer has enough ink. In addition, it is recommended to fill the ink in advance to avoid insufficient ink affecting printing faxes. Please check the remaining ink in the printer. In addition, it is recommended to check the printed copy immediately after receiving the fax. If the printer still stores it in the memory, it can be reprinted. If [Do not print] is selected in [Receiving Documents] in [Auto Print Settings] in [Fax Settings], the fax will not be printed immediately. The fax will be automatically stored in the printer's memory and will be printed after review and selection. Under this setting, if the printer memory is full, the printer will not receive any faxes, so the stored private faxes will not be deleted.
