ASUS Hyper M.2 x16 Gen5 expansion card supports RAID functions across different CPU platforms. For ultimate flexibility, unused CPU PCIe lanes can be assigned to storage to create a bootable RAID array with up to four M.2 SSDs*.

ASUS Hyper M.2 x16 Gen5 expansion card uses PCIe 5.0, providing twice the bandwidth of PCIe 4.0 per lane. Through four M.2 slots, each expansion card can provide up to 512 Gbps bandwidth, which is 8 times the bandwidth of a single PCIe 4.0 hard drive.
The ASUS Hyper M.2 x16 Gen5 expansion card not only enhances the hardware, but also integrates advanced software solutions to achieve efficient thermal management and effective heat dissipation, keeping the SSD at the optimal temperature to achieve stable performance.
Full-coverage radiator installed on M.2 SSD, equipped with air ducts and blower-type fans. In addition, the four M.2 slots are supported by top and bottom thermal pads to avoid temperature-induced slowdowns under heavy load or continuous data transfer.
The integrated blower-type active fan can be easily connected to the motherboard case fan header, and users can adjust the fan speed in ASUS Fan Xpert 4.
The ASUS Hyper M.2 x16 Gen5 expansion card has four M.2 slots and can support two PCIe 5.0 and 4.0. It is designed for the latest generation of NVMe hard drives and has stable power supply that can provide up to 14 Watts of power. This expansion card also supports RAID function across four M.2 slots, with each M.2 slot providing up to 128 GT/s bandwidth.
