VP1420 is a 4x2 True 4K Presentation Matrix Switch that combines four major functions: image matrix, upconverter, audio processing, and analog /digital audio track conversion . Equipped with 3 independent HDMI and 1 set of VGA + Audio inputs , it supports up to True 4K resolution and HDR , and is compatible with HDMI2.0 and HDCP2.2 . The multiple interfaces are convenient for conference applications that require multiple input options. There are 2 HDMI outputs , which can be connected to an extender to transmit audio and video to two screens in the room . Equipped with calibration function and EDID Expert optimized signal to ensure the most perfect picture output; users can control it through multiple methods such as panel buttons /IR remote control /Web GUI/RS-232 , plus automatic switching, power saving mode and quick start functions. Switching conference content is more convenient; the additional Contact In can be equipped with hardware buttons for control; in addition to audio output through HDMI, it can also be used for stereo output through Captive Screw, making it easy to connect speakers and amplifiers.

VP1420 supports up to True 4K 4096 x 2160 / 3840 x 2160 @60Hz , 4:4:4 color sampling (Chroma) displays the most realistic and original film production-level picture. It also has high dynamic range imaging technology (HDR) , which expands the exposure dynamic range than ordinary digital imaging technology, and can more accurately display the range of brightness from direct sunlight to the darkest shadows in the real world.
Scaler function EDID Expert
VP1420 has a built-in scaling function (Scaler) . This technology unifies the video format and can output up to 4K image quality according to the display , converting the video into the most appropriate signal for playback, so that the picture can be played back with detailed and smooth effects.
In many video projects in the past, the EDID between the display and the signal source was not compatible, resulting in a decline in picture quality or even failure to display properly. VP1420 has built-in EDID Expert , which focuses on solving resolution matching issues during power-on, unplugging and plugging in, etc., optimizing the picture quality so that the picture can be output at the most suitable resolution.
