Description
BlueCore laser technology
BenQ, the world's number one DLP brand, has expanded its full line of revolutionary BlueCore laser projectors with the launch of the LU960UST, which is designed for ultra-short focus fixed lens installations and retains installation flexibility to be incorporated into in limited space.
The zero-bias alignment of BlueCore laser diodes increases the amount of light entering the light tunnel, increasing light efficiency to 5,200 lumens.
The dual-sync BlueCore color wheel utilizes the additive yellow portion, stimulating the precise RGBY spectrum for optimal color performance.
The DLP chip contains more than 2 million micromirrors that reflect pure light through a color wheel, and is sealed to resist heat for more than 200,000 hours without degradation.
Excellent installation flexibility
Producing lifelike images in tight spaces with an ultra-short focal length of 0.25, the LU960UST eliminates distracting shadows and glare, allowing viewers to move freely in front of the screen while enjoying immersion in locations with limited space or high-volume retail applications Watch and experience traffic.
LU960UST has native resolution switching function, so users can change the native resolution from WUXGA to 1080P. When the native resolution is set to 1080P, vertical lens shift is enabled, allowing users to perfectly align the image in any challenging location, such as ceiling lights or vents. Lens shift moves the projected image up or down by 5% of the screen height.
Digital image scaling and shifting allows installers to reduce images to 80% of their original size in 0.5% increments via the OSD menu. The image can also be moved, so the installer doesn't have to physically remount or adjust the projector in case the image doesn't line up exactly in the required frame and space.
360° and portrait projection accommodate different spaces
BlueCore laser technology ensures reliable projection from any angle. Dynamic mounting options such as 360° rotation and portrait application allow projection onto ceilings, walls, floors or angled signage.
Custom lighting modes modulate light power output from 40% to 100% in 80 steps, optimizing projected images in a variety of ambient lighting situations. This is especially useful for blending consistent brightness across multiple projections.
Wired remote control
Wired remote control provides projector installers and IT managers with additional setup convenience and operational simplicity. Additional wired control capabilities make this device a reliable choice for projector installation adjustments.
Installers and IT administrators can assign each projector a specific remote control ID, thus avoiding signal interference and unexpected changes when installing multiple projectors in a venue.
Up to 3 projectors can be connected to one PC and project 3D content together.
Groundbreaking HDBaseT connectivity combines video, audio, RS-232 and LAN signal control signals from multiple sources including: PC, laptop, document camera, Blu-ray and DVD onto a single RJ-45 cable. This ensures seamless transmission up to 100 meters.
Excellent image quality
Based on expertise gained from experience using near-zero latency monitors in gaming, the LU960UST employs a Quick Mode feature to deliver latency as low as 16.67ms. The LU960UST serves fast-moving dynamic or interactive scenes well, such as in immersive cycling simulations and amusement park theaters.
The BenQ LU960UST BlueCore laser projector features an impressive WUXGA (1920 x 1200) native resolution that far exceeds Full HD 1080p, delivering more detail and stunning image clarity when projecting high-resolution images.
The LU960UST's powerful BlueCore laser projector utilizes a dual color wheel system to produce unparalleled color performance, achieving 92% Rec.709 color coverage. By increasing the color ratio and purity of RGBY colors, LU960UST greatly enhances color saturation to ensure excellent display quality.
The LU960UST's 5200lm high brightness produces fantastic displays in bright, compact exhibition spaces with excellent image quality.
Laser powered ultra-high contrast
The LU960UST laser projector produces stunningly clear images with a contrast ratio of up to 3,000,000:1, delivering truly deep blacks, vivid rich colors and fine detail. The LU960UST also features spontaneous response without waiting to turn on or recover from pure black blanking, allowing for flexible performance.
LU960UST comes with HDMI 2.0 port, users can now easily project content effortlessly and enjoy a wider brightness and contrast range compared to SDR.
Gamma selection
Choose Gamma according to your preference and optimize image quality between input sources and picture brightness. In addition, LU960UST also provides advanced BenQ and DICOM Gamma curves to meet your various needs.
Lasting reliability
BenQ laser light sources support continuous 24/7 operation and are suitable for public display applications in museums and exhibition halls. Users can choose from three different light source modes to optimize energy consumption and provide up to 70,000 hours of life in dimming mode.
IP5X certified for excellent dust resistance in harsh conditions
BenQ BlueCore laser projectors are designed with a sealed laser module and enclosed light engine to protect the DMD chip, color wheel sensor, laser beam and other optical components. This lock and key design seals the engine from dust to extend the life of the projector.
BenQ centralized control software is a management tool for computers that enables IT administrators/technicians to remotely and centrally manage multiple digital projectors over a local network. Management features include the ability to remotely monitor, control and configure projectors individually or in groups.
BenQ BlueCore laser projectors are compatible with Creston, AMX and PJ Link control systems, allowing for easy system integration with a variety of third-party components and reducing the cost of centralized maintenance of multiple projectors.
