Description
Excellent image quality
BenQ, the world's No. 1 DLP brand, has launched a full range of innovative projectors using proprietary DLP high-brightness laser technology, suitable for large venue applications. BenQ laser projectors combine high brightness, outstanding image quality, installation flexibility and maintenance-free laser light sources to enable immersive public displays and innovative visual communications like never before.
Zero-bias alignment of laser diodes increases light flux into the light tunnel, thereby improving light efficiency.
The Dual Synchronized Color Wheel utilizes an additional yellow portion to stimulate the precise RGBY spectrum for optimal color performance.
The DLP chip consists of more than 2 million micromirrors that reflect pure light through a color wheel and is sealed to withstand heat for more than 200,000 hours without degradation.
To take advantage of the high output of powerful laser light sources, BenQ engineers employ a dual color wheel for laser projectors that significantly achieves laser-accurate RGBY colors by eliminating the white portion of the traditional color wheel. With an ideal mix of red, green, blue and yellow components, BenQ laser projectors produce brilliant colors and a wider color gamut than traditional lamp-based projectors.
BenQ laser projectors directly control light output for faster response and stunningly clear images with an ultra-high contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1. Additionally, there's automatic brightness adjustment to maintain clarity and fine details in dark scenes and balance in bright scenes.
BenQ's LU9800 laser projector features an impressive WUXGA (1920 x 1200) native resolution that far exceeds Full HD 1080p, delivering more detail and stunning clarity when projecting high-resolution images. .
Custom Light Mode modulates light power output from 40% to 100% in 80 steps to optimize the projected image in a variety of ambient lighting situations. It's particularly useful for blending consistent brightness across multiple projections.
Lasting reliability
BenQ laser projectors provide 20,000 hours of superior image quality and performance. The laser light source prevents color degradation over time, making BenQ laser projectors ideal for multiple hybrid projections without the need to worry about adjacent projectors producing different levels of brightness over time.
Lamp Based
BlueCore Laser
BenQ laser light sources support 24/7 continuous operation and are suitable for public display applications in museums and exhibitions. Users can choose from three different light source modes to optimize energy consumption and provide up to 70,000 hours of battery life in dimming mode.

BenQ laser projectors are designed with a sealed laser module and enclosed light engine to protect the DMD chip, color wheel sensor, laser group and other optical components. This lock and key design seals the engine away from dust* and the highly thermally conductive metal fluid controls engine operating temperature to extend the life of the projector.

Excellent installation flexibility
BenQ's LU9800 projector is compatible with multiple optional electronic lenses to maximize throw ratio coverage. These Japanese-made, all-glass optics eliminate chromatic aberrations and color spots for optimal image quality. Maximize mounting options and projection layouts with quick one-click release. Replacing your lenses is now easy and safe.
BenQ's exclusive white balance adjustment reduces white balance variation between images projected by different projectors to levels so low that most people won't see any difference. This allows for seamless and accurate image quality without disruptive differences and saves time adjusting colors when installing the projector.

BenQ laser technology ensures reliable projection from any angle. Dynamic mounting options such as 360° rotation and portrait applications allow projection onto ceilings, walls, floors or angled signage.
The convenience and range of the motorized zoom, focus and horizontal/vertical lens shift systems provide perfectly proportioned images despite the challenges of installation or placement in any venue. Customizable memory allows for easy recall of multiple settings to optimize projection characteristics for a variety of content and applications.
Digital keystone correction allows you to easily correct situations where the projector is tilted vertically or if the projector is not perpendicular to the screen. With just a few taps on the remote control, you can adjust the image so that it fills your screen correctly. BenQ's corner snapping technology allows you to identify and adjust images to stretch or pull them back to the four corners of the screen.

Easy management
BenQ laser projectors are compatible with Creston, AMX and PJ Link control systems, facilitating system integration with a variety of third-party components and reducing the cost of centralized maintenance of multiple projectors.
BenQ large venue projectors are widely compatible with leading projector control systems, including Extron, Crestron, AMX and PJ-Link, and can be network controlled via LAN, allowing easy integration into corporate network infrastructure. When LAN infrastructure is not available, the LU9800 also supports RS-232, enabling reliable long-distance installations up to 15 meters.
BenQ Centralized Control Software is a computer management tool that allows IT administrators/technicians to centrally manage multiple digital projectors remotely over a local network. Management features include the ability to remotely monitor, control and configure projectors individually or in groups.
Broad compatibility
The LU9800 features breakthrough HDBaseT connectivity that combines video, audio, RS-232 and LAN control signals onto a single RJ-45 cable from multiple sources including: PCs, laptops, document cameras, Blu-ray and DVD. This ensures seamless transmission up to 100 meters.
Equipped with an HDMI 2.0 port on the LU9800, users can now effortlessly project content with less friction and enjoy a wider brightness and contrast range than SDR.
