1. Document printing speed is based on single-sided printing and is the ESAT average in ISO/IEC 24734's Office Category Test, excluding the first set of printing time. Photo printing speed is calculated using high-gloss multi-purpose photo paper PP-201, driver default settings and based on ISO/JIS-SCID N2, excluding computer processing time. Printing speed will vary depending on system configuration, connection interface, software, document complexity, print mode, coverage, paper type, etc.
   
2. The TWAIN driver (ScanGear) is based on TWAIN specification version 1.9 and requires the operating system's built-in data source manager.
3. Optical scanning resolution is only available with the TWAIN driver. Optical resolution measures the maximum sampling resolution according to the ISO14473 standard.

• In order to ensure the performance of the printer, the printer will automatically clean according to different conditions. • The warranty period for printer repair parts is 5 years after the product is discontinued. • When you initially set up your printer, a certain amount of ink is used to fill the nozzles of the printhead. Therefore, the print yield of the first set of ink bottles will be lower than the print yield of subsequent sets of ink bottles.
• Printing costs in product brochures or on the website are based on ink consumption data for subsequently installed ink tanks, not the initial ink tank.
• For maintenance details, please contact your Canon sales representative. During the maintenance period, maintenance only covers the printer body and does not include consumables such as printing paper and ink.
• Ink bottles usually only fit printers sold in the same region. Ink bottles may have unique labels or configurations that may not be compatible with printers sold in other regions. To ensure optimal performance of your printer, please consult your local Canon office or authorized Canon dealer before moving the printer from the place of purchase
• Using non-original ink will affect printer performance and print quality. In some cases, although there are no safety issues, using non-original ink may cause the inkjet head to overheat and produce smoke.

• When using a printer, the maintenance ink tank recycles the ink produced by printing.
