- MacBooks using M1 or M2 can only support external single monitors.
- JTD568 uses MST technology. Since macOS does not support MST technology, when connected to a MAC computer, some external monitors will only be able to display mirrored images.
- 8K display requires a screen resolution of 7680 x 4320 to be supported.
- A Thunderbolt™ 4 interface is required to achieve full performance. If a Thunderbolt™ 3 or USB™ 3.2 or lower interface is connected, functionality may be limited.
