The spherical, dished keys perfectly match the shape of your fingers, and the rounded edges provide feedback to your fingertips - no matter where you hit the key. Each key has a matte coating so your fingers glide easily over its surface.

Increase key stability, reduce noise, and optimize sensitivity so you can feel every key tap without hearing any sound. The entire body of the MX Keys is held together by a single metal plate – providing excellent strength that won't slide around your desk.
Smart lighting. Be smarter.
Proximity sensors detect your hands and illuminate the keyboard when your fingers approach. Backlit keys turn off when you step away from your desk - saving power for when creativity strikes.
Backlight brightness automatically adjusts depending on lighting conditions, or can be set to manual adjustment.
Multiple computers, one MX KEYS
MX Keys follow your MX Master 3 – or other Flow-enabled mouse – from one computer to another, allowing you to type on multiple devices in a smooth workflow.

USB-C charging
MX Keys can provide up to 10 days of use on a full charge, or 5 months of use with the backlight turned off. Charging is possible using a USB-C charging cable.

All MX Keys paper packaging is FSC® certified and made using a combination of raw materials from FSC certified forests, recycled materials and other controlled sources. Compared with the previous model, we have reduced the use of plastic in packaging by 97% and reduced carbon emissions by 64%.
