Use Synology DSM to monitor, manage and replace hard drives and storage devices online. Thanks to out-of-band management (OOB) technology, when the system is shut down, you can remotely reboot, reset, and even view logs.

To create an SSD cache, you can use a 2.5" SATA SSD drive in a standard drive bay, or install a Synology SNV3400 series M.2 NVMe SSD drive through the built-in M.2 slot, so you don't need to occupy the hard drive. Disk slot. SNV3400 series M.2 NVMe SSD hard drives can also be used to create SSD storage pools. The hard drives need to be purchased separately.
