Synology RS2421+/RS2421RP+ is a NAS server with a 2U chassis and 12 hard drive slots. It can be expanded to up to 24 hard drives and provides 64K sequential read/write performance of up to 2,200/1,154 MB per second1 . Paired with SSD cache and 10/25 GbE network port to improve performance2, it is suitable for deployment in various enterprise environments. In addition, RS2421+/RS2421RP+ has built-in support for enterprise-level applications such as deduplication backup and second-level restore, providing cost-effective file storage and management solutions for organizations with continuous data growth.

- Only the RS2421RP+ model provides backup power.
- You can use the Synology SAT5200 2.5-inch SSD to activate the SSD cache, or install the Synology SNV3500 M.2 22110 NVMe SSD (need to be purchased separately) through the M2D20 or E10M20-T1 riser card, so that it does not occupy any hard drive slots. Start the SSD cache.
